I thought ‘Brand Identity’ were just fancy marketing words

I’ve just spent the last couple of weeks digesting meetings that I’ve had with the great team at Ironleaf. They are a new partner of Sales+Profit and it was great to get some real life experience of what their world is all about.

First lets be clear: like many business owners I am a salesman at heart and to me there is simply nothing better at work than meeting new people, coming up with ways to help them, and doing a really ‘good deal’. As a result the whole ‘fluffy’ world of marketing has always been less fun to me.

With all of that said and done, at Sales+Profit we occasionally ponder how to really crisply articulate what what we do in a way that communicates the superior experience of the team, and also our ‘get in amongst it’ mentality.

I’m not just talking about just a fancy logo, (although I’m sure this can be incorporated) but something more closely aligned to what we actually stand for.

I know that any professional marketer reading this would probably tell me this is how it should always be done, but naturally, ‘you don’t know what you don’t know’, and it was really beneficial to go through a proper process.

Our team are;

  • Top quality
  • Experienced individuals
  • High energy
  • Passionate about what they do for clients
  • Are able to pull anything ‘sales’ related together

So, after many flip charts, email exchanges and much consideration we’ve come up with:

‘Living and Breathing Your Sales Challenges’

You might not see us advertising on TV during the Coronation Street break, but if you ever needed some acceleration to your sales efforts you might remember the kind of people we are and how we go about our business!
